actually from what I have been trying running cold on I7, i feel that:
Good pot doesn't have to be really react fast, but "time-length/temperture" delta is the vital factor as well as "weight"?. what everyone said "control temperature" is too vegue for sure
My concern is that "after you reach the "sweet spot" of specific temp of your cpu(that means you NEED to know EXACTLY that spot of what temp off your cpu), how long that emp can be kept, that's why you need good pot to hold the temp longer:)?;)
of course there are some certainly settings we need to think deeply , such as cpu impedance and qpi signal compensation on EVGA classified ..ex:
when you running cold, especially like multi-unlocked cpu(because you can run higher multi and lower BCLK), you don't have to really set less/less like we play like locked multi cpu
