想當年 Opteron 170 在 K8 系列中引領風騷，讓 Intel 只能靠拉高時脈硬撐，還因無法衝破 4Ghz 時脈的承諾，當時 Intel 的 CEO 在記者會當眾下跪道歉。
目前我的 PCs 中 仍有 Opteron + Asrock 939A790GMH + Kingmax ddr-400 1Gx4 -- w7。
Celeron 847 雖披上羊皮，但製程為 32 nm(Opteron 為 90 nm)，先進的 infrastructure、指令集、L3 = 2m、17w 功耗 --- 等等，執行 w7 游刃有餘，已非十餘年前的小羊可比。
