Lets go, first Intel CPUs home for some years. No, I am and iĺ still AMD guy (i have 2x x6 1090T BE systems, 1x x4 970 BE system and some AMD CPUs as alternative), but i wanted to have CPU system from "dark side" :)...First i show some photos-Rampage III Extreme, CM V6GT, Corsair Dominator GT 2000 MHz, HD4870, Corsair AX1200W, i7 980x, benchtable Wroom, SSD X-25

Heh, of course, need more time, first Intel chip by me :). Now i have only 5 GHz+ validation :)

Hi guys, I am still AMD guy, but I bought for some benchmarking i7 980x "B" batch. It will run at long time, because i want testing most BIOSes and experience with it. Board is Rampage III Extreme, I started with 0602 BIOS....

First LINX at 32-bit Win XP

4510 MHz...Its maximum stable OC? No, not yet:)

And this is maximum stable clock, but of course, a bit higher voltage for aircooling (1.467V, 4572 MHz )

Superpi 1M - 8.33s

Superpi run is not much tweaked, Il try later with newest BIOSes about 8s run (at 0602 I cant run RAMs more than 1600 MHz)
