Virtualbox可支援到32T,但之前在bigadv VM運算方面穩定度有待改善,所以先前會建議
使用支援至8T的VMPlayer 3.0.0。個人使用VMPlayer 3.0.0至今bigadv未發生過系統異常,
穩定度極佳。

Introduction
Virtualbox has support for up to 32-core processors. I have had good success so far running 8-core folding with the Folding@home CPU SMP client and the 1920 pt Core A2 work units. Virtualbox v3.0.10 has additional SMP fixes that makes bigadv folding a possibility also. With past versions, Virtualbox would crash with one of several errors messages when trying to fold with bigadv. There is still an issue with bigadv folding where the CPU usage will fluctuate between 70 and 100% while using 8-cores. I do not have much runtime with the bigadv folding in Virtualbox so there may still be other stability issues.
The Windows Virtualbox folding is experimental and stability is unknown since there are different possible processor configurations. Make sure your system, CPU, and memory are completely stable and all temps under load are normal before trying out folding in Virtualbox.
