nice nice nice... nice ram youve got there.. mind if i steal it off you?? .... this may be a stupid question but.. why do you guys go for x6800?? its kinda stupid cause most e6600 can clock to 3.2 with stock volts... and most if pushed can glock at 3.6~4.0
nice parts lol :O:O
my RAM is kinda standard tho, it's only ddr2-800, unlike those extreme overclockers who have ddr-1000 or even 1066...etc
lmao, your question sounds pretty silly cuz according to your logic, don't bother to buy any CPU above e6300 rite? since e6300 can oc up to a crazy field as well~~~did you see the extreme overclockers who pushed FSB up to over 600MHz? even tho the multiplier is *7, 7*6=4200 dude...
My answer is simple, im not an extreme overclocker, if i can pay some extra cash to ensure that my CPU works at a certain frequency, i don't mind at all~;em25;
Anyone has his own values, so what you think is rite may not apply to others, rite?
When you say most e6600 can clock at 3.2G, i can tell you some e6600 can't oc at all, can you debate me on fact?
It all depends on the CPU up to what frequency it can clock, there is not 100% guarantee, but if today I buy an x6800, and it can't clock at 2.93GHz, I can argue with the seller who sells me the crap!
I gotta tell you that adding voltage is not my thing, and i don't plan to add any voltage on my CPU for long term use, I want stability and durability, not some short term crazy frequency that i feel really SONG~~~for me, that's stupid~
And, maybe it seems to you that ppl who spend money on x6800 are stupid, but you got no rite at all to tell us that we are stupid~~lol
No offense at all, im just being direct~hope you won't mind ;em03;
Finally, I have to remind everyone to evaluate your financial status, and do some researches before buying anything, you got few money, go for lower frequency CPU, if you got the cash, go for higher~~~
