Dear OPB, I have a question - can the top portion of NB heatsink be detached? For some reasons I have to install HR-03 GT with the back position to make all PCI-E and PCI slots available, the only concern I have to this board is the top portion of NB heatsink hit HR-03 GT. From the pictures I guess I can take off the top portion of NB heatsink (means no heatpipe and top fins), is this true?

you can, but what 's that deal that you take off that heatpipe and reduce the heat dissipation?
