對吼都忘了860 有8T可以使用,不過我要先來搞清楚如何用VM+linux 或是 直接安裝Linux
還有需要多少記憶體才足夠等等...
以native Linux運算,4GB RAM就夠了。若須經由VM運算需6GB RAM。

Kazama 大, 原來我 980X ES 是跑 -smp 12 發現最好 TimeFrame 1% 約 23 分多幾秒,
剛剛把它改成 -smp 11( 損失了一個算一半的 Project)
重點是 TimeFrame 居然只要 1% 只要 22 分 30秒,
-smp 11 居然比 -smp 12 還快?

JC 大是否可以測一下 -smp 15 跟 -smp 16 的差別? Thanks!

我用 980X oc 4G, Ram 1600 CL7 2Gx3 也夠用, -smp 11 or -smp 12 也都夠用
試算了一下, 換 -smp 11, 22分 30 秒的話, 單一 WU 算完就有機會超過 70000 分,

請oegg兄降頻至CPU標示頻率,再測試smp -11是否仍比smp -12快。
自己是有把 I7 920 OC 4.2G 比較
-smp 8 約 29 分 xx 秒
-smp 7 約 31 分 xx 秒

那台 980X linux 還兼 server, 我有到實驗室 他又剛好跑完一個 project 再來調整 預設 3.33G
今天達交的 應該差不多 70000 分,

看來要有4C/8T的U比較適合,今天終於可以輕鬆了~發現CPU為何PPD可以如此這麼高,是因為CPU運算比較不會出錯,且運算起來也必較困難,相對給的分數也較高,好處是不會有損壞問題.,像我之前就掛壞卡..修完就賣出..>_< 所以才停止運算,希望能申請上升級CPU運算平台
CPU一樣採用 LGA1156 4C/8T 是一定要的^_^

記憶體手邊倒是蠻充足的..4G(1G*4) 跟6G(2G*3) 分別散布在家裡各台電腦中

主機板就...挑可以讓U上4G即可要求不多,當然一定要24hr持續運作下去,這樣應該不會壞掉才對

明天來抓VM+linux來玩玩看
