Few days ago, I up date my old box form Pentium III 866MHZ CPU with VIA chipset motehrabord to the new MSI Motherboard with VIA chipseton it and useing AMD SP2400 CPU. I was lazy to reinstall OS. So I hookup everything on the box and boot up the machine. Amazing... the windows xp can boot up with out anytrouble and with out any update for driver.. Everything work fine... Did it mean VIA chipset does not change for a long time?

sounds so fantastic!! does it show the compatibility?
because it never happens to me !!
but I still suggest that U'd better check where it can run well

I have used a Asus P4P800 SE (Intel 865PE) and a Asus P4S800 using the same set of OS.....somehow some chipsets can do that, other cannot.......thats why we ghost it if you are at the RMA department
