微軟（Microsoft）上月底公佈Windows 7零售價格及免費升級方案後，美國時間22日再公佈釋出Windows 7的RTM版本。RTM版本是專門提供電腦廠商大量安裝使用，此舉象徵廣達、仁寶等電腦代工廠的「Win7效應」已正式起跑。

微軟發佈新聞稿宣佈，已釋出Windows 7的RTM（Release to Manufacturing）版本給電腦廠商。RTM版本是微軟專門供應給電腦廠商搭售（Bundle）出貨的原始碼，象徵電腦代工廠的Win7效應將開始逐漸發酵。
