GTC 2010: Quad-core Fusion closer than ever
We had a chance to take a picture of Doug Grose, the CEO of Globalfoundries and Jon Carvill, former ATI / AMD chap who now works at the Globalfoundries as the youngest VP in the organisation, with a Llano wafer.
Both are nice guys but we are sure that you prefer seeing a 300mm wafer rather than looking at two 6 foot 4+ chaps. We can tell you that the wafer has a quad-core CPU with a graphics core, and that the samples behind wafer are real.
There is not too much to tell about the chip, so here is the wafer photo.
