傳輸協定(Serial Transport Protocol)<<=======錯誤名稱

STP = Serial ATA Tunneling Protocol <<=====正確名稱
(翻成 "序列式ATA穿隧協定" 或是 "序列式通道協定" 吧 ).


SAS支援三種傳輸協定
serial interface-Serial SCSI Protocol (SSP)
SCSI Management Protocol (SMP)
Serial ATA Tunneling Protocol (STP)

PS:引自CNET的解釋 "Tunneling"....我想兩者在意義上應該是類似的...還請大大們指教 :lol:

Tunneling Network

一種網路 (NETWORK) 資料傳輸技術, 可以使 A 網路的資料透過 B 網路, 傳送到 C 網路, 在穿越 B 網路時 A 網路資料封包 (PACKE) 會使用 B 網路封包再加以包裝 (ENCAPSULATING), 這樣做的目的是讓 A 與 B 網路建立使用同一種通訊協定 (PROTOCOL) 的連結, 而來穿越使用不同通訊協的 B 網路.



The specific details regarding SAS utilization of the SCSI command set are straightforward: SAS employs three different protocols to

SAS的接頭模組有兩個[DUAL PORT]一在正面一在反面

SATA的接頭模組只有一個PORT

SATA接頭尺寸跟SAS一樣

但是沒有SAS接頭中間一橫槓[ |||||||=====|||||||||]

橫槓可能是防止使用者把SATA接在SAS上吧

猜測 橋接式的SAS 硬碟可以直接接在SATA上

原生式的[Native]SAS硬碟不行直接接在SATA 上
