First non 975x/965 chipset mainboard that supports Conroe processor*
If you have been looking around for a board that can work with the upcoming conroe CPU and your older AGP 8x card. ASrocko 775i65G is the board that suits this purpose.
Based on the i865G chipset, this mainboard supports the LGA775 intel Dual Core Pentium XE, Pentium D and Pentium 4 / Celeron D, supporting Conroe, Presler and Cedor Mill Processors.
It supports FSB 800 and 1066 when paired up with an external graphics card. it supports 800/533 when it is used with internal graphics core.
It has a AGP 8x slot and has integrated DX8 graphics. The board also comes with 2 DDR400 DIMM slots and supports overclocking with FIX PCI/AGP. There are 2 SATA 1.5GBs ports. 2 ATA 100 IDE ports, 5.1 ch audio, Fast Ethernet port and 6 ready to use USB 2.0 ports.
