Whenever you got an English fiction or non-fiction, magazine or newspaper or a 2000 page literature, read out loud and record your reading,(with a MP3 player/recorder, it's really simple nowaday) then listen to what you recorded down after a few paragraphs so you know where you need to adjust on words. If you dont know how to pronounce certain word, ask your teacher, or maybe an foreign with English as NATIVE language friend to help you out and have him/her record the pronounciation for you.(some of my friend's whatever-lish is hard to understand, sometimes I even wonder if they can understand themselves...)

Listen more, Speak more, and Read Out Loud more. It's not something people need to "master" per se, but a tool that one should try to use it as effeciently as possible to communicate with one another. As long it gets the job done, it's all good.

"Listen more, Speak more, and Read Out Loud more."
-----That's really a great idea.

"You don't have to master English but to use it effectively"
-----That makes sense. I feel much better now.

Thanks!

Master in english is useless, as long as others understand what you say. Therefore, i think is good enough.

well~ it's what I think
it depands on what you think a language is.....isn't it?
to master a language is not a bad thing but takes your time (even your money and your patient).....
if you wanna have a reserch on a language, it still lies on how how you think this language is.....isn't it?
actually! to master a language doesn't mean anything.....but to use a language freely without any blocks is better than to master a language...
basically, a language is used to communicate with each other.....sometimes, even use only one word ----> it works!! right!!
or I have to say.....there are too many terms in any fields of a language, like medical, business, hi-tech....and bra bra bra...
I think you have no basic english problem (like grammer, spelling)....
so .....what about learn when you see.....it's my way......try it!!

If your purpose is to master english in the field of computer,
it means you have to read plenty of english info.
In such case, it takes only efforts to read, look up dictionaries, and learn many terms,
which is different from reading casual articles.
When it comes to the problem of speaking fluency,
i suggest you watch movies in english subtitle, and imitate their pronunciation
out loud, and learn how they link words together.
Your listening ability can improve as well while you pay much attention
on every details of words they pronounced.
As for writing, the ability is based on knowledge of a language acquired by reading,
and try to write journals everyday and apply what you have learned.
After all, practice and efforts are what count for mastering english.
Good luck!

Watch DVD and American soaps without subtitles.

Get a job that allows 100% exposure with white guys.
