I wonder if any one here know about the "Project Looking Glass" and successfully install it. Basically, it is a 3D desktop environment. You can download a demo movie from SUN microsystems. Please check it and see for yourself. It's really a very cool stuff.

I caaaaan't believe it...... indeed it's quite a new innovation based on java !!
I still remember that one of our member used to introduce a 3D windows software.......I saw the pictures, and I just thought that it's quite cool !! but right at the moment, I didn't think to instill it into my stupid pc is suitable........ bcs I didn't wanna make my pc more unstable

actually, I don't know whether these two kinds of software are related .....however, after I saw this demo show I just wanna say
it's really cool.......otherwise, I don't know whether it will accupid too much memory space?

Currently, in windows version, there is not many programs that support 3D
and the windows version doesn't replace the explorer in any way, it is just a program
running under explorer that can be set to full screen mode.
Right now, the Linux and Solaris UNIX version might be better developed
